CC Terms of Use

This document describes the terms that apply when using CC.

Last updated: 2026-09-22

Service Description

CC is an iOS app for designing digital business cards, sharing via NFC / QR / link, publishing a public profile, and saving contacts.

Accounts & Authentication

You do not need an account to design a card. Sign-in with Apple, Google, or email may be required to publish, redeem an activation code, restore access, or use certain cloud features.

You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.

Card Content & Public Profiles

Content you add to your card (text, logo, contact details, etc.) belongs to you. A published public profile may be viewable by anyone with the link.

You agree not to publish illegal, misleading, abusive, or rights-infringing content.

Your public profile URL (slug) may remain fixed after publishing; changing it may be restricted to protect the integrity of the service.

NFC, QR & Sharing

  • Writing to NFC tags depends on your device hardware, permissions, and tag compatibility.
  • QR and link sharing depend on your public profile being available.
  • Third-party NFC tools or device limitations may prevent sharing in some environments.

Contacts, Scanning & Nearby Transfer

  • Saved cards are stored primarily on your device.
  • Camera / photo scanning of physical cards may use OCR; accuracy varies with image quality and content.
  • Nearby CC transfer requires local network permission and CC open on both devices.
  • If location permission is granted, meeting-place details may be saved locally with a card.

Activation Codes & Premium Access

  • Activation codes from physical card kits may be single-use and may grant permanent access under applicable terms.
  • If in-app purchases (IAP) are offered, they are processed through Apple StoreKit; manage or cancel via your Apple ID settings.
  • If you previously purchased access, you may use Restore.

Ads & Tracking (ATT)

  • The app may display ads.
  • On iOS, if App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is not granted, ads may not be personalized; the app will continue to function.

Intellectual Property

The CC brand, UI design, app assets, and related materials belong to Cemiyet / CC.

App content (text, visuals, UI) may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without prior written permission.

User-created card content belongs to the user; you grant us the rights needed to operate the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, violate laws, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with the service.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for managing permissions, checking device settings, the content you share, and using the app in a way that fits your circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of CC is limited. The app is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates become effective when posted on this page.
