Privacy

Your privacy matters.

This page explains what data CC may process, how it may be used, and your rights.

Last updated: 2026-09-22

Introduction

CC is an iOS app that helps you design, share, and save digital business cards. Some features may require device permissions (e.g., camera, location, local network, tracking).

Data We May Process

Account information

When you publish, redeem an activation code, restore access, or use certain cloud features, you may sign in with Apple, Google, or email. In that case we may process account identifiers and, for email sign-in, your email address.

Card and profile content

Card details you create (name, title, company, contact fields, logo, etc.) are stored primarily on your device. When you publish a profile, a card snapshot may be synced to our servers so it can appear on your public profile at card.cemiyet.studio.

Contacts / saved cards

Saved connection cards, notes, and scan images may be stored on your device. This content may include business-card details you enter or scan.

Camera and photos (if you allow)

Camera or photo library access may be used to scan physical business cards or pick images. Images may be processed for OCR and saving a card.

Location (if you allow)

If you grant location permission, approximate or precise location may be saved locally with a card so you can remember where you met someone.

Local network (if you allow)

Local network access may be used for nearby CC transfer between two iPhones to exchange card data.

Advertising data & identifiers

The app may display ads. Third-party ad services may process device identifiers or measurement signals to serve and measure ads. On iOS, if App Tracking Transparency (ATT) is not granted, ads may not be personalized.

Language and app preferences

Preferences such as language selection may be stored locally on your device.

How We Use Data

  • To power card design, sharing (NFC / QR / link), and public profiles
  • To add, scan, and transfer cards in Contacts
  • To support account, publishing, and activation flows
  • To improve security, performance, and troubleshoot issues
  • To serve, measure, and (if permitted) personalize ads
  • Where applicable, to support purchase / restore flows (Apple infrastructure)

Third-Party Services

CC may use third-party services such as:

  • Supabase (authentication and public profile data)
  • Google AdMob (ads)
  • Apple Sign In / Google Sign In (authentication)
  • Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat (purchases / restore, where applicable)

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data only when necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect security, including through our service providers.

When you publish a public profile, the card content you choose to publish may be visible to anyone with the link.

Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Card content and preferences may be stored locally on your device; published profile data may be stored on our servers in connection with your account or publish status.

Your Choices & Rights

  • You can manage permissions via your device settings (camera, location, local network, tracking, etc.).
  • On iOS, you can change ATT permission at any time.
  • You can change the in-app language preference in Settings.
  • You can contact us via email for questions or requests.

Children’s Privacy

CC does not specifically target children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and are effective when posted.
